Oh My!

After taking a step away from the Photo a Day Challenge yesterday I am back on track with it today, with the cue 'Oh My!'. A description on the website for the prompt was : "Oh my! What do you think when you hear those two words?".

Well, seeing as though there are no triple-decker, chocolate-cream filled chocolate cakes covered in mousse and chocolate ganache in the house, I couldn't photograph my first "Oh my!" thought. So I've gone with my second.

I don't think hubby is going to like me making the photo I took of him today public to everyone. But I am sure he will forgive me. Aside from the above mentioned cake, my gorgeous husband, especially shirtless, is definitely an 'Oh My!' thought for me. Even in an un-posed photograph where he really was more interested in his game than being a model.

To be honest, the fact he is shirtless here isn't even the first thing that I see when I look at this photo. My eyes go straight to the wedding ring on his left hand. We've been married for a little over 5 months now and I am so very blessed to have him in my life. He is more than I could have ever hoped for and is an amazing husband, stepfather to our daughter and soon to be father to our son.

I am thankful to have him with me on this journey, and I really don't think I would be in the position to start fighting back against my depression if he weren't at my side supporting me through every step. His encouragement and effort mean more to me, and have helped me so much more than I think he realises.
